Ship's 339 Eagles:


And here we want to recognize the achievements of some of our ship crew and member.

Eagle Scout Badge Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and those who attain this rank are called an Eagle Scout or Eagle. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle". Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout.





The following ship 339 crew and members that have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Josh Adams received his Eagle Scout with Troop 190 in December 2003. He also received his Quartermaster, the highest Sea Scout rank attainable, in 2006 with the Ship 339.

Teddy Hayduk received his Eagle Scout with Ship 339 in 2004.

Steven Sengberg received his Eagle Scout with Troop 315 in May 2007. His Eagle Project was at Yamato Scrub Natural Area in Boca Raton, FL.

Tyler Pyle received his Eagle Scout with Ship 339 in June 2007.

Tim Schneider received his Eagle Scout with Troop 315 in July 2009. His Eagle Project was various enhancements at the Salvation Army facility in Boca Raton, FL.

Peter Usher received his Eagle Scout with Troop 315 in October 2009. His Eagle Project was at Gumbo Limbo Natural Center in Boca Raton, FL.

Mathias Sengberg received his Eagle Scout with Ship 339 in October 2009. His Eagle Project was at Sandoway House Nature Center in Delray Beach, FL.
